My Rolling 90-96 hour fasts until Aug.19th

Greetings, Fasting Family!
So, I am committing now to rolling 90-96 hour fasts.
I am on my first of many rolling 90-96 hour fasts, which I will do until August 19th. I have this dress I want to wear to a wedding. And I have messed up my right knee, and the extra weight on my body, has not helped in the healing process. I have inflammation in my right knee, and can not take long hikes, like I usually do. I am getting accupunture for this, and hope with regular fasting, I can heal this. I think it’s rather funny (I AM laughing at my little ego), that my knee has been messed up since December, but I could not commit to fasting longer than 24 hours (OMAD), UNTIL I knew I was going to a wedding, LOL. So, pride comes before health, for me, it seems. Sigh…oh well. I finally got on the scale and weighed, yikes, 91 kg. And I am 167 cm. tall. So, that is the most my body has weighed, sigh again. And that, with OMAD. I was eating too much in my one meal. And I was counting only net carbs, not total carbs. I am following a keto diet to correct insulin resistance. I have a serious spare tire. I have been watching a lot of videos from Dr. Berg, and especially Dr. Boz, and read all of Dr. Fung’s books, and have a theoretical basis on which to make a plan. I just finished my first 90 hour fast. I had a meal of a two egg omlet, with about 60 grams of goat cheese, 2 mushrooms, a small amount of leek, and a half avocado. IF I do feel hunger, I will have a second meal within the next eight hours, then reset my fasting app. I will continue to post regularly, to keep an accountabilty record. I will follow this plan until August 19th. If by the last weeks of July, I do not see enough progress, I may up it, by doing 7-14 day fasts. First, I have to get use to fasting for 3+ days. While fasting, I will allow myself coffee, if I want to. But plan on mostly drinking water or herb tea. This first fast was not easy, but doable. I was tired, as of Friday. I just dragged my butt on Friday and Saturday, but I believe as I become more fat-adapted, I will perk up. I feel pretty perky now, and will go on my first walk of the day, 2.1 km. I got on the scale today, and weighed 89.0 kg., so I dropped 2 kg. I plan on posting my measurements, which more accurately show the progress, when the scale does not. I will take measurements once a week. Today, my measurements were: Neck 38 cm., Arm: 32 cm., Bust: 109 cm., Waist: 105 cm., Hips: 118 cm., and Thigh: 63 cm. OK. I have almost 13 weeks to do this. If anyone wants to join me, please feel free. The more the merrier. Also, I can HIGHLY recommend the coaching offered by Yasemin PS. She has helped me so much. @Yasemin PS: Thank you!

So, today is June 3rd. I have done 3 rolling 72-90 fasts since I last wrote, but was too scared to get on the scale, cause I ate a lot when I could eat…
Today is day 2.5, as I started my newest rolling 72 hour fast on the 1st of June at 12:00, so I am 51 hours into this fast, and will go until 72 hours and have a small, keto meal, and then fast 48 hours until Monday, when my children come to visit me, and I will eat with them.
So far I am staying in ketosis, and I follow the diet outlined by Dr. Annette Boswell/Dr. Boz (YT). I just took my blood glucose, which was 85 mg/dl and my ketones were 1.1. If one uses the “Dr. Boz ratio”: glucose divided by the ketones=Dr. Boz Ratio (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FBovEjbiAOE), it will tell if one is got a high insulin amount or not. My result showed I was not producing a large amount of insulin. I did do a tiny cheat today, I put 2 TBs of heavy cream in my coffee, and so that is why, I believe, my fasting glucose was 85 mg./dl.
I’ll get on the scale tomorrow and record it here.
Happy Fasting!
