My name is Georgia 50 years old. I have 4 adults children and 3 steps kids. And now a grandmother. Working hard taking care of 7 kids and a husband was hard challenge but all are adults now living their own lives so no it’s my turn to take Care of myself :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Doctors in the passed mentioned to me few times that I’ve battled with uterus cancer, and I prayed many times & always do!! I’ve gotten results are always negative and I know I’m in the Hands of GOD :latin_cross::pray::smiling_face_with_three_hearts: I’m not sick physically but yet overweight for my height. I started seeing a doctor for weight loss 1 month ago and he’s the one introducing me to fasting​:slight_smile: I thought He was gonna give me a magic pill :pill: :joy::clap:t3: but nooo!! Water :sweat_drops: Fasting was His idea… so I did last month and lost 17 pounds YOO-HOO :kissing::sweat_drops: I’ve never EVER!!! Thought I could loose so much weight in one month. This month I failed but I’m excited get up and start back again because my health it is important and my family do still needs me.He has me fast 3 days every week​:sweat_smile::two_hearts: so im still seeing him and looking forward for my goal some day to come true !! God bless. I just finished Day 6 of what I call the Jesus Fast Challenge. 40 days of water fasting where I also try to learn 1 new thing, perform 1 act of kindness and walk at least 1 mile a day. Brain-Heart-Body (my health version of the sign of the cross) to physically anchor myself.

Godbless! I walk 2-3 miles a day but looking forward to challenge myself 5-6 miles soon well I hope and pray all is well with you… and don’t forget YOU GOT THIS :clap:t3:

God bless. I recommend just keeping to your 2-3 miles a day during the fast. Reason is building endurance and muscle to support it requires protein which you should target when you do your Refeed after your fast.

I just did a 1.8 mile walk this morning to my local WalMart to do my weekly weigh in and blood pressure check at their automated health machin in their pharmacy area. It’s free and gives me an objective measurement of my progress and emails me the results.
