My millionth attempt to fast

So I’m one of many that have tried to fast but never make it past 12 hours ( and most of the time it’s only a few hours before I cave)

But this time I wanna do this right ( for my body) which means I’ll be fasting from food but also cigarettes and marijuana ( usually the reason I cave in to food cravings) it’s gonna make this way more tough but I know my body would only benefit from this.

A little about me, I’m 27 years old I have a 7 year old and my current weight is 226. I LOVE to get to eventually get to 180-170 lbs. I know this won’t happen in a week but it’s my ultimate goal.

Also im attempting to fast for 5-7 days

Hey, don’t beat yourself up too much.

I won’t do weed right now - the batch I have access to makes me really hungry so I don’t dare. But I’m not a regular smoker of that so it’s not an issue.

I do smoke cigarettes still as they don’t make me hungry and it’s an oral fixation thing. I do want to curb them but right now I am focused on my fast. It’s enough of a challenge. :slightly_smiling_face:

Keep Edison in mind - thousands of tries before he got that lightbulb thing down.

It’s a matter of identifying what didn’t work or why you got stumped before and change that thing.

Welcome to the family! You just need to say “enough is enough” and repeat this mantra “I will successfully complete my 7-day Fast” many times throughout the week!
