Hello! Soo…Use the instant pot 10 minutes normal pressure, with frozen vegetables and a tiny bit more water than required. I also add bouillon, cumin, chili flakes, coriander, paprika liberally I throw everything in the instant pot. The dried mushrooms need to be soaked in boiling water for at least 5 to 10 minutes beforehand. Hope this helps! I find 0.25 cup bulgur more than enough with frozen veggies.

Day 7 of Posting: I am at 98 hours!!! And I am continuing onwards. I just feel no hunger anymore, it is great!!!
My tip: Realize that human beings are incapable of remembering a feeling, like how women know that childbirth was painful but they cannot physically feel that pain again from remembering it. That is how we should think about some suffering like hunger pangs, it will go away and we will not remember it. This is how I also think about tough things in life. Just do it. Because you won’t remember the pain. Hope that helps!
Update: I am at 119 hours so officially almost 5 full days…crazy.
I feel no hunger, and I know the second I break the fast, I will start getting hungry like crazy. I have a question on potassium. Do you take potassium supplements when you fast?? Should I be?
Yes. Also magnesium and salt. Yas’ takes her potassium and magnesium before she goes to bed because it allows her to sleep better at night.
Day 9 Update: Broke my fast today with a total of 136 hours and weighed 128.5 pounds which is great! I started at 135lb at the beginning of the fast. I ate 1 avacado and a vegetable soup, just frozen vegetables and bouillon. Now I will go for a 36 hour fast but a bone broth fast to make sure I get all the electrolytes but I really want to maintain this weight loss. Thank you for all the motivation!!!

Day 11: I was 128 today! Doing OMAD and Keto now And trying to get to 124 by next weekend, let’s see, baby steps!
Day 12: I was 126lb today! Craziness!!! Today I am eating normally and letting my body rest. I only eat spinach, eggs, tuna, avocado, and low carb veggies though
Day 13: i was 126lb today too!! So essentially only eating vegetables and fish for the next week still. Can’t wait to see 124lb. I have been going to the gym to these lesmills classes everyday.
Excellent! Build up that lean muscle mass to increase your basal metabolic rate and your aerobic endurance. It will help you in your next fast as that’s what I did before I did my current fast.
Day 15: I am doing at least a 24 hour fast today
Going to the gym now in 1 hour to Body Attack. I am really used to exercising in a completely fasted state! Cannot wait to see 124lb…
Yesterday I brought my own food to a dinner and it was TOTALLY FINE. I think that we overthink it in our heads. I just explained that I am doing a January detox of only eating low carb vegetables and fish and no one asked questions. It was great!
Started my fast today at 9:00 on February 5th Wednesday.
I will take it day by day, but last time I did 136 hours. I have been happy at 128lb for 2 weeks now and it is time for my body to go through another fast.
86 Hours left to go, feeling really good and strong Pretty easy so far, just keeping busy and talking to people, calling people I haven’t spoken to in a while and being very productive! At 33 Hours now and it is really straightforward.
