I am excited to start a consistent fasting focused lifestyle. I am a Type 2 diabetic, single mom with one teenager and one out of college. I have done many 7 day or less fasts but I always get off track after refeeds. I have about 50 pounds to lose and I plan to do ongoing water fasts with a 1 day refeed in between. Blood sugar improvement and discipline are my primary goals.

I’ve decided that I will plan and focus on two weeks at a time to not get overwhelmed. The first two weeks starts today. I plan on a 6 day fast, OMAD on Sunday. Then another 6 day fast with OMAD on the next Sunday. I will walk one hour every day. I will report here every day. Let’s Go!! :muscle::grin:

Survived Day 1. I can’t tell you the number of times I have started a fast that turned into OMAD. Happy to see Day 2. Woke up with a headache but I feel good.
