Marfeus Daily Waterfast journal

Aright, let see if I can be consistent with this…

“Why?”
I’ve been doing it sparingly throughout this year and last year. I dig it, help me feel good keeps my mind clear. It’s actually good on your wallet too since you don’t spend money on food.

“Goals”
It’s always good to lose weight, it’s actually the easiest way for me to lose weight. I want and I’ve been implementing fast consistently and want to make it a part of my lifestyle going forward. I also want to be sober. I’ve been dealing with issues and it’s been getting out of hand.

“Struggles”
Day 4-5 has always been hard. But once I get past that hump, it’s smooth sailing.

“Game plan”
Right now I want to do 20 days or if I pass the 20 day mark, break it only if I really need to… then get back to it again.

“How do you feel”
I guess worried. I’ve had false starts for the last couple of weeks. I stopped due to stress / substance abuse issues.

“What happens when I reach my your goal?”
well, it’s not a goal per se. I want this to be part of my lifestyle moving foward, yes i’ve been doing this for a while, I just want to be consistent.

It’s been 26 Hours or so. it’s been pretty easy so far… but it’s always easy for me until day 4-5. I live alone, barely talk at work. So it’s been easy in terms of people not eating or talking about food or to go out all the time.

64 hours in.
Feel ok. I had a full day and a half to rest, I stayed at my apt sleeping, preparing to work night shift 14 hours per night for the next month or so… Should keep me busy. The plus side of this is that most places with food are closed and when I get home all I want to do is sleep. There is nothing in my fridge but water too. So it’s not like I can grab something out of routine.

Things were a lot harder when I was living in Japan. My GF at the time would always bring food for dinner and since I always tried to stayed Keto when I eat, made it hard since most Japanese food were very “carby”.

I went back to Japan to visit friends and family and in 2 week gained 10 pounds easily… and that was even eating just once or twice a day. Now that im back to my home ive been getting used to my regular scheduled. Was scheduled to go back to Japan in December, but I will hold it off until next year. I want to have 8-10 months of consistency to see if when I go back I’ll have a better plan for nutrition. It’s hard. Not impossible.

Congrats on your progress so far. Look forward to reading :open_book: your future entries.
