Day 1 Journal
I would like to get down to my healthy goal weight.
I am doing water fasting as it helps me feel like I am in control.
My short term goal is to lose weight before the festive period.
My long term goal is to reach a healthy BMI and weight.
I struggle with stress eating, eating to change they way I feel and boredom. I always give up when trying to change my habits around food. I start off ok, but fail to stick to the well known diet plans. I am hoping water fasting will give me the flexibility to achieve my goals.
Game plan is to reach 7 days of water fasting and then to look at 5/2 (fast/eat). I may try a longer fast if I am feeling ok on day 7.
Right now I am feeling happy that day one is over, but had a headache which is easing. Just had a salt shot and its improving.
When i achieve my goal I will feel happy and confident.
Affirmation - Day 1 = “I am strong, capable and ready to make the changes needed to lose weight for good and reach my goal weight”.

Well done for reaching day 3. Have you taken a salt shot to see if this helps. I am on day 2.

Day 2 Journal
Feeling better on day 2, no headaches and have a bit more energy. Just completed my week 5 run on Couch to 5K programme so feeling good today.

hi letty. sorry to say this but my birthday is on 7th september and i’ll need to break my fast and start on tuesday

Hi Tei, it is day 3 now and I am ok, but hungry. I am drinking some tea and more water to try and hold it off. Day 3 is hard. Hope you have a good birthday on the 7th. Best Wishes.

How much weight to go for your longer goal?

Just completed day 20, but I have a very long way to go. I am looking at 28 days if I can, then OMAD for a while. How about you?

I’m in a challenge to get 50 fasting days done during the next 90.

Not all in a row, mixing up 36’s, 48’s, 60’s, 72’s.

I have a goal by winter solstice I’m pushing for to leave me my last 10 lbs to lose. :slight_smile:
