Lauren's 21 -30 days water fast .No more quitting!

Hello everyone so I am doing a 21-30 days water fast,hoping to lose about 50 pounds.I know it is a huge number,but I really hope that I will achieve it,because I am having an important event soon and I wish I can put on my jeans,looking confident.I will do more exercise,hopefully I will lose weight faster.I’ll keep updating !!Need more motivation from you all :slight_smile: :grimacing:

You’ve done 5 days and typically those can be the toughest. It gets easier after the first 5.

Exercise is for toning and flexibility. It’s not really necessary for weight loss. A change in diet fixes weight issues.

What is the event you are losing for?

Right now on the events side I’m losing for an Octoberfest/halloween party, then I’ll be losing for Thanksgiving, then I’ll be losing for Christmas, and then I’ll be losing for new years and then I’ll be losing for my birthday in February :joy:

For each day of fasting you’ll lose half a lb of fat. The rest is water and mostly temporary.

I currently have 50 fasting days scheduled - not all in a row.

It will take that many for a 25lb fat loss.

This is a lifestyle change. Do it for you. :slightly_smiling_face:

Keep your goal in sight at all times, especially when you have a wobble. You can do it!

Thank you !It is my last school picnic in high school so I really hope that I will be able to lose those quarantine pounds by that time…And a few days after the picnic it’s my birthday…Tmr is the Mid-Autumn Festival and my bro’s bday,but I guess I will have to not eat…I am doubting rn :frowning:

@striveforyourgoals I’ll be reading your journal closely… I wish I could do 30 days… I’m attempting a minimum of 14 days so right along with you for some of it. Who knows, maybe following you will get me inspired to keep going to 30?? You sound very determined!
