Hi, I am Julee. I am not new to water fasting. I have completed many of them over the years. However, I find for some reason, that I am not fasting as I should these days. My body is definitely feeling the toxic load. I lack motivation. It used to be so easy for me. Now I struggle to get through one day. This is not caused by physical withdrawals from food, but just because I want to eat. I don’t understand why it has become so hard for me to stick to even a short fast.
I am thinking that support would help me get back on track again. I went online to see if I could find any website that could offer that. I came across this site and decided to join. I am hoping this is what I need to give me the drive to get back on the health road again. I have limited time, but I think I could find the time to at least do postings in a daily journal. Just having to write it all out for others to see may be enough support for me. We will see.
My current goal is to water fast at least three days a week. I will call a day any 24-hour period. I will use alternate day fasting mostly, but I will be free to do all three days at one time some of the time if I can swing it. I did alternate day fasting before for a short time and did I ever feel good! I loved the energy it gave me. I am not holding myself to any rules other than just to do it. That means I can fast one day, or two days in a row, or all three in a row if I can. I will roll with the punches. Some weeks I may be stronger and experience more will power than other weeks therefore I think it best to roll with it. It’s best to go with the flow rather than to let rules destroy me causing me to give up.
I have heard testimonies of some that live an alternate day fasting life. Their stories are miraculous. I know that if I fast at least three days a week my health and energy levels will improve.
Today is Tuesday, January 4, 2022. Let’s see if I can get my three 24-hour time periods in before midnight on Saturday.
