Finally I’ve completed a 120 hour fast. I’ve lost 17 pounds . I will start another water fast tomorrow or Monday and go for six days.

Congratulations on reaching goal. :clap::clap::clap:

I recommend at least 2 days to ReFeed before starting a new water fast. You need to let your body recover before stressing it again with another water fast.

Ok thanks I appreciate the recommendation

Just speaking from experience!

I’m shocked too but then again I have a lot of weight to lose. Its gonna be a long journey my friend.

Yep.

I began Aug 9th last year. Achieved 1st goal of being ā€œmedication freeā€ on 12/13. New goal: ā€œ6 pack at 60ā€ by 6/12 this year.

Ok I’m back at it 7 plus hours in I win be out of the 400’s soon never to return again !

Look forward to reading about your journey.

Did you take a BEFORE pic when you started? You don’t have to post it until can also take an AFTER pic.

When I started I took my BEFORE and then progress pics every 2 weeks for my last program. For this program, I’ll take one every 2 months.

The changes can be subtle on a day to day basis and the weight scale can’t measure when muscle replaces fat. Just a suggestion.

Yes, I took before pics I believe I will post pics every two weeks or every month .I’m not quite sure yet .

I tried a couple of rolling 48’s and I felt good physically but mentally I felt guilty after refeeding. I’m kind of all over the place this week, it was not good mentally . I was experimenting with electrolyte powder, rolling 48’s and weight lifting. The scale was up and down all week , I’m going to stick to my regular water fast program this coming week starting Sunday the 19th . I really hate to see the scale creep up it just devastates me . I guess it’s just too early in my journey to be making unnecessary changes , I’ve learned from my failures.

I started with every 2 weeks, gave it up for monthly because the changes are that visible. For the 21 day fast I’ll be starting this Monday, I’m just going to take a Before and an After.

I’ve been doing Alternate Day Fasting during my 30 Day Flexibility & Endurance phase. The version I do is around 500 calories in 2 meals (fasting) day and then 2 meals of eating unrestricted. My experience is the same as yours as the scale went up and down. However, I expected that as the focus of this phase was NOT weight loss but adding some lean muscle mass to up my metabolic rate, increasing the flexibility in my lower body and increasing my aerobic endurance. The end of this phase is this Monday when I’ll start a 21-day water fast and get back on the weight loss train.
