I’m on day 4 of a 7 day fast to kick off. I did great in March and then crashed hard, but I’m back. I’m ending this 7 day fast slowly, taking a few days to get back to eating actual meals. Then I’m switching to rolling 48s with low carb refeeds, mostly “Eat Like a Bear” style salads. I’ve started doing tapping meditations and drinking decaf coffee to reroute my comfort eating.
We’ve also just signed up for Philo and I’ve been watching My 600lb Life in the evenings after the kids go to bed again, and that’s been motivating. “But for the grace of God, there go I” and all that. I’m not working out during my 7 day, but once I switch to 48s, I want to incorporate daily yoga again.
After I drop all the weight, I plan to maintain with a 16:8 2MAD lifestyle forever. Wish me determination and consistency!
