Jaime’s Water Fast

Hi guys!

I’m new to the forum, I started my water fast today and wanted to keep track of my water fast and came across this forum online. I’ve done 5 - 7 day water fasts before but aiming for 14 days this time.

Today was my first day, it’s currently 6pm and I’ve been doing just fine! Feel hungry but not to the point where I need to eat, easy to ignore.

Have had a bad headache all day, not sure if it’s from not eating or caffeine withdrawal as I usually drink 2-3 cups of coffee a day.

Starting weight is 143 lb! Hoping to get down to around 125 lb.

Will give you guys an update tomorrow! If you guys have any recommendations on how to relieve headaches I’d love to hear them.

Hi,
If you just stopped coffee, it’s probably caffeine withdrawal. Try decaffinated coffee, it has caffeine in it, but a much lower dose. Black tea also has caffeine.
Dehydration also causes headaches, so drink plenty of water. I have a hard time drinking enough water, because I never have cared for it. I’m with W.C. Fields on that one.

Day 3 update!

Got no sleep last night… maybe 1-2 hours worth from 11pm - 8am. Not sure if this is because of the water fast or stress with classes and work have a lot going on today so my mind was racing all night.

Went hot tubbing last night, felt good didn’t feel dizzy or light headed at all.

Weight: 138.4 (-5 lb)

Day 4 update!

Woke up feeling a little sick, heart feels like it’s racing by very little movement (like going up and down the stairs). Slept in today which felt good to do after not getting lots of sleep the night before!

Weight: 136.0 (-7 lb)

You are doing very well. Hunger is only hunger.
