Hello people, i’ve been trying to do a 5 days water fasting since this year started and everyday at dinner time I give up, the worst of it is that I eat a lot of carbs and sugar. I want to break my sugar and food addiction by fasting because i’ve tried doing it step by step but the thing is once I tried a bit of somethings I ended eating everything I see. So today is my first day of water fasting, I just completed 24 hours and I was okay the whole day but now i’m struggling because everyone is taking dinner at home so i’m in my room writing this. I don’t want to break my fast.

The craving comes from sugar. Stop eating sugar totally. Stuff yourself with something else, like Brussel sprouts. Personally, I hate Brussel sprouts, so faced with a choice of Brussel sprouts or fasting, I’d fast. Of course, if you love Brussel sprouts, this idea won’t work.
Last night I saw your video and help me a lot, also I promised to myself I was going to eat at breakfast time and only have to wait a few hours more, I think that promise help me to sleep without eating lol, though I dreamt with food last night. Now I’ve been extending hour by hour a bit more I completed 41 hours. I hope to be strong enough to sleep another night without eating. Thank you for your help Yasemin
Thank you for the advice, I really hate loving sugar so much. I quit sugar last year for 3 months I am sure I can do it again and hopefully forever.
Yes it sucks when we think it’s under control to have a big, and a small controlled amount can turn into a full out week long relapse!!! Ugh !!!
