I started Saturday night with my Fastmas challenge. My goal was to do between 18-21 hours a day. I can’t do OMAD due to the gastric surgery I can only eat a very small amount in one setting so would not get enough calories in so I do two meals. I always skip breakfast. I have lost 3 lbs this week so far and I am feeling good and not craving sweets. Salty things like chips are my downfall so I just don’t bring them in the house any longer. If I get a big craving for them I will get just a small bag and have them, but haven’t so far. I want to be in wonderland by my 60th birthday mid February so 26 pounds to go. Fast on my friends.
I'm on a roll now
I hope you are closely consulting a health professional during your fast. Because from my research the whole point of doing fasting is to get the benefits of gastric surgery without the surgery. Doing fasting on top of having gastric surgery sounds risky to me, but that’s just my uninformed non-medical professional opinion.
I had the surgery in 2002, so is okay. I had to take prednisone awhile back and gained 15 and then went through menopause and gained another 15 and many other stress and so need to do the fast to get the fat off. My doctor is all for it. Thanks for the concern
