I want to start a water fast

Hi there, i am new in this forum i am from México and i’ve been trying to start a water fasting for weeks but everyday i fail, i ended up doing only an OMAD protocol at the end of the day, the thing is i am not following any diet and i eat a lot of carbs and sugar at dinner, my main reason to do a water fast is stopping my addiction to sugar and carbs. Last year i made the keto diet for three months and lose 17 kilos, i haven’t gained any of those kilos when i broke the diet and it’s has been almost a year of that, maybe it is for the intermitent fast but also i couldn’t get back at the keto diet because of my carbs addiction. Anyway i joined this forum because i want to success at my water fast, i want to dominate my mind and eat healthier. Sorry if my grammar is wrong, english it is a bit hard to me. kind regards everyone.

When I am fasting, I am not eating sugar. When I started this fast, I did not prepare by getting off sugar first and that made it much harder. You can stop eating sugar and still eat. You can stop eating carbohydrates and still eat. Take it one step at a time. Research sugar. There are 56 types of sugar. Learn what to watch for when you buy food. Avoid natural sugars in fruits and honey. Once you have kicked the sugar habit, try fasting and it may come easier for you.

Thank you, I will try fasting that way, for many years my dinner was always bread or cookies and coffee with milk, now no matter how much I eat I feel something is missing if I don’t eat bread or cookies. I will try my best :blush:
