Hello my 1st day of 21 days fasting

That’s a good question. When I asked the endocrinologist a similar question he said a minuscule amount technically broke a fast; however, from a practical standpoint it probably wouldn’t knock a person out of ketosis.

The question is how long do you have to go between imbibing before you trigger an accumulative effect? All I know is that it takes 12 hours after the last bit of food exits the esophagus before insulin levels drop. It’s the reason that the minimum IF schedule is now a 13:11. I’ll ask the doc next week. Otherwise, I got nothing.

I felt cold yesterday had to put on winter cloth , instead chuck down 3-4 oz, I sip water through out the day, feel body is better hydrated then the day before.my husband insisted to celebrate my birthday last night despite I already communicate to postpone to June. Watching them eating on my birthday what a great birthday gift. I told my husband I am on special diet now, he definitely will against if he knows I am doing WF. I made day 12 now. Had weird dream that I went to a food event, ate a corn chip broke my fast, I will be tempted to break my fast over a bowl of pho or miso soup in real life, definitely not taco.

Unfortunately, the endocrinologist says he has no relevant experience of knowledge so he can’t advise.

Hi, i been wondering to take this challenge for the first time, but the resistance comes to me often.

What do you struggle the most when fasting? Would you consider that your election to do fasts its only for the weight benefits? Do you know a tool that mixes fasting, meditation and awareness?
