I am excited to start my 21 day water fast today, i.e. March 20th, 8am. I have tried intermittent fasting before, but that is when I was 18 kgs lighter. I got married 14 months ago, and have constantly gained weight since then, but this is the heaviest I have ever been. I feel scared to look at myself in the mirror, and have the whole cupboard full of clothes that don’t fit me anymore. So I feel this is critical for me at this point in time, to get the confidence as well as the focus I need in life. I need to be able to complete this to put my life in order and to get discipline in the days, especially since work from home these days makes it very easy to lose track of a lot of things. I am a 29 year old female weighing 87 kgs at present, having a BMI of 34 kg/m2 (Obese Class 1). My target at the end of the cleanse is 75 kgs as well as fitting into some of my clothes, and to overcome my unhealthy relationship with food. I am posting this to get the required sense of accountability, which will help me in the times I fall weak in the next 3 weeks. Looking forward to everyone’s support and help to guide me through the most important journey of my life.

Welcome honey, there is a lot of support here for you. Post whenever you can. I also I’m starting another water fast challenge from this evening so we are in it together. Don’t forget your electrolytes and the allowed supplements in case you need it. We have got this.
Welcome! I am new here too but the community is great and super motivational!! Keep on pushing and remember to trust your strength! Your first 3 days will be the hardest, after everything gets a little better if done correctly. I believe in you, you got it
