I’m beginning my first ever extended fast today. In the past I’ve fasted for up to 48 hours and this is going to be my “Serious” attempt. I’m making this journal, something I’ve never done before. I don’t normally journal anything or keep records. I just know that I’ve gone without eating up to 48 hours a few times and I want to succeed at a longer fast. I’m aiming for 7 days as my first fast, as I just have decided. I’m trying to take more accountability for my actions by journaling. I’ll be looking for a Calendar here to hang at my desk to make notes on and keeping a personal notebook to journal in as well. I’m also stocked up on distilled water and have bought a 2.2 liter pink bottle to keep track of my water intake. I think if I fill it twice and finish it I should be good to go. I’m also going to be watching Yasemin’s videos and reading from Dr. Jason Fung’s fasting book. I know it will be a struggle because of my voracious meat eating family who I cook dinners for. The temptation is what normally gets me after a day or so of fasting. I’m going to be successful this time by keeping busy doing other things.

I deffo agree with you the temptation is real esp a house full of food I was on my day 3 today felt so good but my family decided to have a pizza and I couldn’t really resist myself but I’m going back to my fast tonight and hopefully I will be able to finish 30 days I need reward myself if I do complete these months fast Let’s do this together all we can and will
