I am joining for a 7 day water fast to detox my body and feel better mentally. My aim is not to lose weight but reconnect with my inner strenght and self.

I love this goal!
Today is day 2. It has been relatively easy so far.
I did a 7 day fast two years ago and I remember struggling then. I am not this time. It feels manageable.
I cut sugar out of my diet 6 months ago and I feel this may be helping…
Day 3 has been fine. Just felt a little tired towards the end of the day so I am having an early night!
Today is day 5. Not hungry but feeling tired and light headed.
All my body movements are slower than normal.
7 day water fast completed.
I must admit I felt pretty week the last couple of days, with difficulties breathing.
I am quite thin to start with and this fast made me loose too much weight I think. I took pictures this morning and could see my ribs protruding. Not good. But a great cleanse!

Since you’re slender the next time you may want to limit it to 5 days. Research scientists and doctors I follow like Dr Chachin Panda of the Salk Institute and Dr Peter Attia themselves limit their maintenance fasts to 5 days. For Dr Panda he does it once a year, for Dr Attia he does it every quarter. Just a suggestion.
