Day 1: 18 Feb
Just water, no vitamins etc.
1 x 40km cycle commute in fasted state to office
1 x 40km cycle commute from office to home
Slept from 7pm to 6am
80.5kg

Day 2: 19 Feb
Just water, no vitamins etc.
Work from home, no cycling
Woke up with headache, but subsided during the day
Slept from 9pm to 5am
79.1kg

Day 3: 20 Feb
Mixed pinch of salt into water bottle
1 x 40km cycle commute to office in fasted state
Feeling a little short on energy
Headache still there but a lot less
77.9kg

Well done. You need more salts and electrolytes. It should make it easier. All the best.

I agree with “overcomer” on the salt. I needed at least a teaspoon of the pink Himalayan salt every day and I wasn’t exerting myself at all.

I need to break this water fast and try after the 16th of March.
I wasn’t able to do my marathon training in the fasted state yesterday.
This weekend I have a 2hour, and 1 hour run, and next week Tuesday-1hour15min, Thursday-1hour15min, and Saturday 3 hour and Sunday 2 hour runs.
I really want to do this, I will do OMAD untill after the race

I love this site … keep going … so proud of everyone doing this
