Hi,
I’m new here and I’m happy I made my decision to join this community.
I have struggled with my weight issues for a very long time, I have tried so many things you name it I have tried that. My relationship With food is not very good, I’m trying to overcome that. And for my health reasons .
My current weight is 198 pounds and I’m 5’4’.
My first goal is -170
Second goal is - 140

I’m on my Day 1 water fasting… Feeling strong n still happy
Had ACV this morning
1cup of black coffee

My name’s Alipio. I’m the resident “greybeard” both figuratively and literally as I currently hold the record for longest water fast at 40 days and I’m the oldest member here.

Hi, @Dubbi Don’t feel bad, it is a wonderful thing that you are starting :innocent:
I know how it feels, I also have let myself go a lot, looking back from some 3 years ago and now, there is a dramatic change in the way I look. At my state now I don’t like to take pictures and see how I look like for real. The mirror makes it seem not so bad, or is it just my brain adjusting the image to seem not so bad yet🤔
I am slowly understanding that changes are happening and I just have to be patient and disciplined enough to get to my goal. All the extra weight didn’t happen suddenly but over time😅

Exactly, now that you have started, that’s the most important part, so no need to be sad, since you turned a fresh page and you’re already way ahead of your goals going onto day 3 in a couple hours! :smiley:

Hello!
I too am new to the community and I just started my first 48 hour fast today at noon. It is now nearly 8 hours in and bedtime. I struggle with food, so this is a fast to help me shed the last 5 pounds, but also to reset, detox, and get a rein on my mindset towards food and eating. I wish you the best and want to support you in any way. We can do this!
