I am going to do a fast, not sure how long for i want to aim for 40 days but the most i can attempt is 44 hours. I will take it day by day. i am on day 1. I am now 67 kilo’s /147 Pounds aiming to get to 55 kilos/121 Pounds. I have type 2 diabetes and that kind of makes me give up as i been told its unsafe to do but then i get told i know my body and just watch my sugars. So sometimes i don’t know if fasting is the right thing to do so i give up. My friends and family tell me its not good. I just want to ignore the negatives.

Hello, I’m doing a four day fast, wanted to do 10 days, but I have a work event Tues, date night Wed and most likely date night Saturday as well. I started yesterday, Friday 1/26/2024, so:
1/26 starting weight - 205.6lbs YIKES my heaviest
1/27 - Day 1 - 201.2lbs
1/28 - Day 2 - 198.6lbs woohoo back in the 100s
1/29 - Day 3 - 196.6lbs
1/30 - Day 4 - 195.9
1/31 ending weight - 194.7
