Day 1 water fasting 02/02/20

Hi! Anyone on day 1 too?
I’ll try to reach 20 days of water fasting to heal from plantar fasciitis!

Hi, it’s day one for me as well. I have done 3 days and 5 days fasts, now thinking of going for 7 days. I want to build up for the longer fasts.
Do you think fasting would help with plantar fasciitis? I have that too for some two months already, it got a bit better when I am not walking too much, but after a 30 min walk today it really hurts now:pensive:

Hey! Oh you have plantar fasciitis and it’s your first water day fast too? that’s very nice!

Well, I tried everything, I don’t run anymore (I like sports and I played soccer before this pain), I took anti-inflammatory medications, ointment and nothing has helped me… I have that for 4 months now so water fasting will be my last chance…

Same as you, pain may decrease but if I go for a walk like I did 1h ago, the pain comes back and it hurts…
I’m stretching and will apply ice on my feet (I never tried ice and I know it’s effective so I’ll give it a chance)

I’m aiming for 20 days! my longer fast was 5 days too…
I hope it will help us!

Ps: Just noticed that we have the same age too!

Yes let’s hope it helps
This month I can’t fit in something like 20 days, because of the Valentines Day coming up, but maybe next month I would be ready for that long fast.

I’ll tell you once I’m done with this fast if it helped me or not with this pain!
I’ll update this thread on day 10 and day 20 + refeed

Today I had an headache but first days are always harder… I wish you luck if you try to fast for 20 days one day!

Even Keto helped with PF. I’ve only been OMAD, but I can’t remember the last time it hurt while it used to be constant.

Hi! I hope you get well. For my previous experiences I did’n noticed any improvement on my case (Scar pain after 2 Morton’s neuroma extraction, but its a particular situation). Happy Fasting!

Fazinha-. I think part of healing is growing through suffering. If all of my pain doesn’t heal, then I will let God’s grace shine through my weakness and be more compassionate to others who suffer. I know that we will both reap many benefits that we can’t see and find joy. We’ll just not give up!

Belgium…I’m still doing OMAD. I think after about 6 weeks of Keto my total inflammation went down dramatically. By 8 weeks, I had no more PF.

I think I’ve learned that a body in constant inflammation can not heal. I mostly ate, and still do, eggs and meat and butter because I wasn’t always sure which foods were inflammatory.

Today is DAY 10th! I felt so hungry yesterday with a stomach pain but today I feel good…

To talk about my Plantar Fasciitis, I used to have a pain on my feet in the morning but not anymore… I can’t still feel something if I put lot pressure on it but I can feel that the inflammation reduced a bit…

Will aim for 15 days now and maybe 20 days if I feel good!
