Just a little update - did omad Saturday, Sunday and two meals on Monday. Started another fast Monday evening. Unsure how long I’ll go for but at least until tomorrow morning to start with.

Ended up eating Monday afternoon. The discipline and motivation have waned slightly. Need to get back on track today with workouts as well. Taking it short term to get myself back in the groove - workout today and fast at a minimum until I hit the 24 hour mark tonight.

Trying for a week long fast. Completed yesterday as day one. Going through until 22.45 on Tuesday I hope. I’ve rarely planned the length of fast so I’m hoping by picking one and verbalising it that having a firm goal will help me push through when the temptation to break kicks in.

Coming up on the end of day 3. Today has been a bit of a struggle but mainly due to boredom and constant reminders of food more than anything. Tomorrow will hopefully be a little easier although there’s a storm forecast here so it’ll be an indoor weekend. Sunday marks four weeks since I broke up with my ex and restarted my fitness and wellbeing program. I’ll do my official weigh-in and measurements Sunday morning. I’m hoping that tomorrow will be easier to push through knowing that it’s a measuring day on Sunday.

Past the halfway mark of this week long fast. Feeling alright alright I’m expecting today might be a struggle. Weigh in and measurements tomorrow though so need to be strong and just push through. I’ve decided not to workout for a couple of days. I don’t want to risk pushing too hard.

You’re smarter than me. I almost killed myself on the last day of my last fast all because of my overconfidence in my own abilities. LOL

Coming to the end of day 5. Last night emotion hit hard out of nowhere and I got crazy depressed. Pushed through and decided to workout today. Surprised how easy I found it. Felt great afterwards. Two days to go and I’ve made a deal with a member on the FB that we both complete this week long fast so just need to push through!

So the member on the FB had to break early. Important to listen to your body. I’d much rather nobody ever pushes to unsafe limits for the sake of others. I’m still pushing on though. An hour away from reaching the final 24 hours. It’s been a painfully slow and boring day which hasn’t helped. I hope for a good, long sleep tonight to skip to as near the end as possible

So I made it past the week mark. Not going to eat tonight as it’s late here so I’ll get a little bonus time and I’ll eat tomorrow morning or lunchtime

Broke my fast at a little over 7 and a half days. Could’ve gone longer I feel which is a huge mental boost. I’m going to cycle shorter fasts for a while now whilst trying to keep eating keto/carnivore unless social events dictate otherwise.

Good plan. Build up that body before tackling a longer one.

Still being going strong. Did a few days of omad now on a 48 that I’ll break today. Going to try to stick to a primarily carnivore diet for a while unless I’ve a social event that will include alcohol. In that case I’ll introduce carbs again then back to carnivore afterwards.

Been struggling with my mental health a lot lately. I’m not sure whether fasting is helping or hindering but I broke a 72 today and I’m back into fasting again.

From the last update I did another 3 day fast. Omad on Friday then Saturday and currently just past 24 hours fasted. The plan will be to continue like this for a while. Considering jumping into a longer one with the community for March

Broke a 3 day fast today with an omad. Made probably the best burgers I’ve ever had. Going to jump into a 48 now and I’ll be eating Thursday but increasing carbs. I’ve got an old friend coming into town so I’ll be going for a few drinks with her on the Friday. Likely means eating normally Thursday, Friday and Saturday then jumping into the March fast with the community.

Good plan. Scheduling around social events will keep you happy and your new lifestyle sustainable.
