Why - It has been too long since I have felt good. It would be so awesome to just feel how good fit feels instead of feeling overweight, slow and old. If I don’t lose weight now I will be going on more medications in downward spiral. I want to be able get and greet the day without fog from overeating the day before.

Current stats:

  • 5’8’’ish
  • 204.5 - 31.1 BMI

What are your long term and short term goals?

  • Short term - 158 - Normal BMI - by end of 2020
  • Get off blood pressure medications
  • Commitment to vegan eating
  • New job.
  • Long term - 145 lb - Ideal BMI - 22.5

What are some struggles you face or you have faced in the past?

  • Emotional eating/depression
  • Chocolate
  • Pizza

What is your game plan? (/.e. OMAD intermittent Fasting + Keto + Water Fasting

  • Monthly water fast
  • 8/16 IF
  • 10,000 - 15,000 steps or bike to work - spring/summer (Canada)
  • Stretching
  • Body weight workout (5 minutes)
  • 8 hrs sleep

How do you feel right now? (Happy, Sad, Anxious, etc.) and why?

  • Frustrated - Sad. The way life turned out.

Day 2 - Doing March madness water fast. Been fast on and off for last few months. The last extended fast was in November (10 days). I was doing well but felt weak at the end. I will supplement with Magnesium and Potassium this time.

The March, 2020 fast I am trying to go until March 13,2020. I have a commitment after that requires more the water. After I break the March fast I will try to do a vegan IF 18/6 until the next group fast in April, 2020.

A little hungry but nothing overwhelming. :grinning:

Didn’t sleep enough. Had about 2 ounces of bone broth with spices :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:.

Day 4 - Need more sleep. Just keep waking up. Breath smells like death (good I guess). Not really hungry should be a good day.

Really hungry now. Got to remember when I eat again the extra treats aren’t worth day 3/4.

Day 5 - Still waking up early but not getting up. A bit tired but ok for now. Hunger has subsided for now. Need to stop procrastinating with exercise so we can get to bed earlier.

I did not have a real time time frame of this fast either 10 or 21 days. At day 5 and wishing it was over but think I should do at least 20 days.

Day 6 - Well so much for 10 days/20 days. Broke down last night and had a bit food (frozen corn, 2 veggie dogs,…). Luckily there is much food in house. It make no even been 500 calories but starting over. Feel much better day. Will see how today goes. If I can do 24 hours l will likely transition to vegan 8/16. I will do an extended fast in late March or early April.
