Dave’s January Fasting Journal

Hey guys, today was day 1 of my first extended water fast of 2020! My goal is to beat my longest previous fast of 180 hours. I plan to then transition to OMAD keto for a few weeks. Admittedly, these past few weeks I haven’t been eating the healthiest due to finals and then the holiday season (gained around 3-4 pounds). I really want to start the year right and get back on the right path with this fast.

Day 1
Everything was going fine until around 6pm. I started to have food cravings and mild headaches. Honestly, I was so close to just eating and pushing the fast back a day but I decided to keep going. I’m treating everyday as a small win toward my goals.
