Cora's Journey to 140

Part 1: September challenge

I previously had an old journey for my journey to Onderland and that is done with.

This new journey is to get back to 140 or as close as I can before my 22nd birthday in Feb 2021. If I do reach 140 by then, I will have lost about 80lbs in a year and nearly 100lbs from my heaviest weight ever.

Aug 31: To facilitate the transition, I ate under 500 kcal earlier today so that by the time I’ll join the call I will have already started my month long fast.

Goal is for roughly 142 by February before my birthday.

Good job on the 500 kcal!! I’m rooting for you Cora!! You can do this!! I’m excited for your progress as we get towards the end of the year into the next year!

I also have a birthday goal of 130-135 and fit/toned for my 35th birthday…

Day 1 to Day 3 :: August 31-September 2 ::

  Weight lost so far: 4 lbs
  
  These past couple days have been really good. I have so much 
  to do that I have no time for cravings or a wandering eye.
  I haven't had any headaches or major detox symptoms 
  however I had a bit of trouble sleeping.

I sleep less hours on true water fasting days.

It’s a side effect for a lot of people.

I notice, I sleep great on day one but day two and three are lots of tossing and turning, then day four I’ll sleep like a rock… it goes along those lines every time for me.

Day 4 to Day 7 :: September 3-September 6 ::

  Weight lost so far: 7 lbs

  These few days have been filled with ups and downs. I had one 
  crutch day and 2 very close calls to breaking my fast. But, 
  tomorrow is a  new day, and I have so much classwork during
 the school week that not eating won't be a problem!

Day 8 to 13 :: September 7-September 12th :::

    This week ended up being an OMAD week. It wasn't what I had 
    hoped but it is not a bad thing. Despite doing OMAD & working 
    out, I didn't lose any more weight and that is okay. I am
    almost done with a prescribed medicine that I need to take 
    with food and will be back water fasting soon!
