Cindy Day 1 of 10

Day 1.
Day started the same woke up around 9am, and went to gym run for an hr. I usually dont have appetite after i work out. Went to work at 2:30pm and i started feeling the need to eat even though im not hungry. 6pm-10pm I was just thinking about food the whole time, should I continue this fast? Should I have a cookie? Should I just start tomorrow? Should I just do OMAD? But then I remembered this is why I started. i started to prove myself that I can do anything If I put my mind into it. I told myself I will do 10 days so I will! Im pushingggggg!

My weight day 1 58.8kg im actually around 57 but I’ll be honest i did binge last night before starting my fast. I had donuts, cookies, chips, instant noodles, chinese food u name it! See this is why im doing this fast. I know im not overweight but i never had good relationship with food since 10 or so years. Hmmm I kinda tired now. Will continue tomorrow.

I also ate a lot after I measure my weight before fasting haha  I had lunch, got myself a biscuit (even though I was full), and then received a package from my family. Most of it was food. I ate lots of “kue cincin” (it’s my favorite treat, really sweet -,-) and a bag of “amplang” (this one is crunchy and a bit salty). I actually wanted to take everything after I finished with the “kue cincin” to my lab so others can eat it. But I forgot to put in that bag of “amplang” so I ended up eating it too -.-

Thought I’d point out that a lot of our eating is out of habit. The best way is when the old habit rears it’s ugly head is to replace it with a new one. Studies of the hormone ghrelin which causes hunger show that it usually spikes during our regular meal times.
