Today is my first day of the water fast , I was trying to do the egg fast but it was not as successful as I’d liked . It has always been easier for me to NOT eat than to stick to a healthy meal plan … hopefully this water fast will help with that ! The longest I’ve done is 3 day water fast … I’m shooting for 21-25 days

From experience, make 7 days your 1st milestone and then evaluate where you are. For myself, I began with a 4 day then a 7 day. Did a 5 day. Did a 9-day ReFeed before embarking on my current 40-day. Currently at the 12-day mark. I decided to build up my “fasting muscle” but that’s just me.

Thanks that’s great advice , my new goal is 7-9 days and I’ll check in around 5 and see how I feel . I’m officially on day 2 . I had to reset but I am feeling good .
Yes I agree 100% , I am officially on day 2 after a reset … but I’m focused and determined
Day 2:
I am an hour or so into my 2nd day and I feel good . I went on a 3 or so mile walk and felt fine . I have to climb like 10 flights or more stairs 3 days out the week for school so I don’t want to over exert myself on the days I don’t have school . But I’m feeling good , I’ve decided I’m going to achieve this goal
Day 3: I’m officially 4 hours in my day three . I feel good , I’ve been sprinkling a little pink Himalayan salt either in my first glass of water or under my tongue - I feel great ! My family is celebrating thanksgiving early because my cousin is going into the Navy before thanksgiving … so it’s an early dinner to send him off . I can’t miss that LOL plus thanksgiving is a once a year meal … I’ll go easy and refeed before PROPERLY .

Supposed to be Day 4:
I made it like 4 hours from day 4 and had to eat a cheese stick . I was feeling exhausted , aching and just out of it . I walked over 3.5 miles, and then went shopping at walmart, I think it was just too much exercise for me at that moment and I gave in . I plan to refeed and do a short 2-3 day fast again before my early thanksgiving . Then I’ll shoot for another 5-7 day fast ! I have to make it to day 4 and I’ll feel accomplished.
Good attitude. Learn from it and move on. Good sign you’ll be successful in the long run.
