Chris's 30+ day water fast (currently: INACTIVE)

Today is day 1 of a water fast that I hope will last for 30 days. If that goes well that I may think of continuing. Right now I am:

225lbs and 68 inches
Fat fat fat fat fat
26 years old

Longest I have fasted for is 72 hours.

I really don’t want to live my whole life fat and unattractive.

The plan is: lots of water, one multivitamin each day starting day 3 and onwards, 2-3 mile daily walk to maintain muscle, magnesium/sodium/potassium supplements starting day 3 and onwards, and hopefully enough sleep :slight_smile:

About twelve hours in, feeling hangry, all pretty expected so far :smiley:

Day 1 Complete!!!

2-3 mile walk DONE.
Had some strong cravings at night, again pretty par for the course.
Again I’ve never made it past 72 hours but I hear it gets easier after.

I choose to fast not because I need to, but because I want to. I could stay ~30 BMI for the rest of my life, but I don’t think it would be very enjoyable just having all my needs taken care of me, huh? I’m doing this to build character. I’m doing this to ensure that my genes are strong when the time comes for reproduction!!!

5 mile walk. Brisk. A bunch of coffee. Feeling dizzy. Probably gonna get some electrolytes soon. Sometimes craving. Oh well, I just lean into it and let it pass. I won’t stop myself from imagining tasty all you can eat sushi.

Some cravings coming in, I always forget how strong they get on the 2nd night. Looks like we’ll just have to tough this one out.

Total time: 36 hours
Felt muscle cramps, will stock up on electrolytes before starting my next fast.
