Candice’s lose 19lbs by 2021 journal

I have been water fasting on and off for a few months. Down 30+ lbs…
Lately I’ve been up and down.
I am starting to realize I may have a fear of getting to a healthy weight…I sabotage myself when I’m doing really well every time and binge!
I’ve been keto on and off for 3+ yrs as well.
I’m ready to get to this milestone and tackle another 10-15 off in the New Year is my current goal.

Last night a killer headache came on around 10 as I was getting ready for bed. It kept me awake until 2am!
I’m assuming this is b/c I binged on cookies and Halloween candy leading up to the fast…
I succumbed and took an Advil this morning and the day has been relatively better since. I’m also noticing body aches (again likely the sugar intake) and a runny nose.
Today my plan is to do some yoga and self care stuff like a bath and taking it easy doing crafts with the kids.
I’m finding I enjoy preparing meals for the family surprisingly…it’s rewarding to clean out the fridge and freezer and pantry from my yrs of stock piling food knowing I won’t be going to grocery shop for a wk or two if not longer.
This first cpl days Is so unpleasant it just may motivate me to keep going after 7 days is up as to make the unpleasant side effects really worthwhile rather than go through them again next time I start another fast.
All in all I’m really glad I joined a community on this fast! The connection, support and accountability is quite helpful!
