Started my fast on Jan 1. I’m going to do a 14 day water fast followed by a 7 day juice fast. I’m looking forward to the support and encouragement this forum can provide!

Hey I’m water fasting for the same period. I might push it to 21 days (so while your juicing too). But my refeed plan is essentially green juice for the first three days (1 day for ever week fasted) and then making it more complex and gently adding solid foods and more complex things to breakdown.
How have you found this first five days?
Hi Cate - thanks for reaching out! So far the fast has been going pretty well. I’ve definitely experienced low energy and craving food every day so far. But no headaches, nausea, dizziness or vomiting. But as I was going to bed last night I noticed I was developing a sore throat. When I woke up this morning it was much worse - and my fatigue is the worst I’ve experience so far. I’m going in for a blood test this morning to see where my numbers are. How is the fast going for you?

Day 5 today. Woke up feeling very weak- the most fatigue I’ve experienced so far. Also have a wicked sore throat. But on the upside, I weighed myself for the first time today and I’ve lost 12 lbs!
How are you getting on? Are you starting to find a gentle rhythm to your days?
I’ve folded twice with fatigue and XYZ but restarted today.
