I am a SAHM and I am doing this for health and to get rid of anxiety. Today is day 2 of OMAD for the Valentine’s day fast.

I really love be that yesterday and today I spent more one on one time with each of my kids. It was good for them and I completely forgot about eating.

So far cooking hadn’t been a problem. I am usually really tired when I’m making dinner but I find it really fun to get to cook when I haven’t eaten all day. It’s nice to sit and eat with my family at dinner. I hope I’m being a positive model for my kids to know that it can be done and gives me more time with them.

Day 4. I’m just naturally eating less in my one meal so the last two hours of the fast are a little harder. I will feel hungry for 45 mins. Instead of 20. I am more in touch with reaching out to others and less focused on myself during the fasting and I feel happy a lot.

One of my health goals is to get my waist at half my height. Today my waist was 34" so I’m 2" from my goal. At my heaviest, my waist was 40".

I’m about to eat and I’m going to journal when I wake up instead of starting my day cleaning.

My Why’s:

Chronic fatigue leaves me with only 3-5 hours of normal energy, and I want to live a normal life again.

My inflammation was constant before Keto and I want to heal this year.

I can’t drive on highways or for longer than 30 mins. because of muscle fatigue and anxiety. I want to drive normally again.

I’m always choosing between house work, social activities, and personal care. I’d love to do all 3 consistently again.

I am 173lbs. 5’3" and I want to be 130lbs.

Day 7

Positive Affirmations

I am worthy of being nurtured, as well as, being nuturing to others

Other people are invested in my healing
Clarity of mind is better than brain fog

Day 8…I’m down 4 lbs. This is a big deal because I was in between pant sizes when I started. Neither size was working. My stomach is always 2 sizes bigger than my hips. Today I am out of size 14 and into my 12s comfortably.

I always feel really focused between hours 18-23 but yesterday I just felt blah. I do art journaling so I used that time to create and it helped.

Day 11

I am really focused on paying attention to my kids while I am fasting. I was talking to my youngest and she was telling me about these weird footprints in the snow. Usually I just say it’s some animal, but I was trying to pay attention and I decided to go outside and see them. They are weird! Anyone recognize what this could be?

No freaking idea!

We looked up tracks and we think it’s a hare.
