Andreia - 35/40 Day Water Fast

Day 1
Weight - 84.6 kg - 186 pounds

Starting today. Will do a mix between water fast and dry fast. Will work out 6 times a week.
Will post my progress every day here!
I am not sure I will do 35 or 40 days, it will depend on my results.

My goal is 66kg - 145 pounds.

Hi Andreia,

Welcome to the group. There is one other member here, besides myself, that has successfully completed as lengthy a fast as you are shooting for. @Anna just did a 30-day and I finished a 40-day. Feel free to look at our respective journals and to ask us any questions. :grin:

Day 2

Weight loss
Day 1 -Weight - 84.6 kg - 186 pounds
Day 2 - Weight - 82.7 - 182 pounds

I felt good in my first day just had a headache but I still worked out for 2 hours.
I wil work out today too and should dry fast until tomorrow evening.

I almost ate last night, the temptation was big but I’m glad I didn’t.
I can do this!!!

Day 3

Weight loss
Day 1 -Weight - 84.6 kg - 186 pounds

Day 3 - Weight - 81 kg - 178 pounds

Day 2 was pretty easy but today I woke up with a pretty bad migraine, hope it goes away soon.
I worked out 2 hours on day 2 and I am planning to do the same today in the evening.
I started dry fast yesterday at noon and should go until tomorrow evening.
I’m excited with the results and getting more excited in continuing this fast.

Day 3 was kind easy. But the scale went up due to my period. I am not upset by that I am sure it will go down in the following days, I am just bloated now.

Thank goodness I don’t have the “plumping” issues you ladies face every month.

How is your 35 to 40 day water fast going ?

I couldnt do it, I feel so bad I coulnt finish it! I just re-starded today! I will complete this time!

Hi, 9 days is a good achievement. Don’t be too hard on yourself, always be kind to yourself and just do your best. Build your fasting muscles by doing shorter fasts and then gradually extending it. Also when you can’t continue for whatever reason, refeed and start again, just keep trying. One thing that is clear for me is that every single fast that I do is always different… I don’t always know what will happen or how intense the detox symptoms will be, for this very reason I have now learnt to take it day by day and be consistent. I have every confidence that you will get there as long as you don’t give up. We are all here for you :muscle:t5:

You are totally right, all my fasts were completely different from one another.
The problem is always give up doing everything in my life and I do want to complete this!
Day 1 its done! 39 to go lol
