I am starting now. Even while typing this, I am fighting with myself to not eat. I will start with intermittent fasting, only eating between 12p-5p, then I will go on to one meal a day fasting. I will reduce my carbs intake while doing this. I am going to begin getting everything I need to start my water fast, vitamins and salt. This is going to be a huge mental fight for me. But I can do this for myself. Greatful for being a part of this group! I really feel this is going to be a huge help.

I’m the resident “greybeard” both figuratively and literally as I hold the current record of longest completed water fast at 40 days and I’m older than dirt!
Looks like you have a sound transition plan. I did an 11 day transition phase of 11 days of increasing I.F. (16:8, 18:6, 20:4 & OMAD) before jumping into Prolonged fasts of increasing length (4, 5, 7 & 40 days).
