Hello, I’m new here and ready to begin my water fasting journey. In the past, I’ve fasted for up to 5 days. My current goal is to complete a 7 day water fast, and I will be updating my progress daily in this thread.
I want to fast because my hunger cues are abnormal - some days my stomach is a bottomless pit, while others, I don’t eat unless I remind myself to - and also in aim of potential better body composition through fat loss. A main reason for me is also learning discipline: if I can get through 7 days of water fasting, then I’ll know I have more self-control than I think I do right now.
Lately my eating habits have gotten worse, and I am lacking motivation to start fasting again. But I know once I get into it, I can keep going. I can and will be able to reach my goals and look and feel the way I want to, beginning with these next 7 days
