Weekends are brutal. I’m on day 7 of a (hopefully) 90 day “fast”. I’m juicing daily, mostly veg. I lost 50 pounds in 90 days doing this in 2015, and I’m hoping for a repeat performance with a side of permanent lifestyle habit changes. I just went through weekend #1 and wanted to crawl into a cave and hibernate until spring, but powering through that brain barrier is step 1 to having the self confidence to believe you can actually do this!
I understand about the PB, I was cutting chicken for my daughter last night and had a literal battle with my own hand as it was trying to jam that chicken in my mouth. It was like Jim Carrey fighting the pen in Liar Liar (the pen is rrrrrrrrrrROYAL BLUUUE"). There’s a pause before thought and action that, if we remain as present as possible, we can recognize and take that moment to smack some sense back into ourselves.
