4/8/2023 fasting 40-100 days

Started fasting today. I am 65.50 kilos ( 144.4 lbs ) and aiming for 55 kilos ( 121.2 lbs). I am going to allow myself to have some peppermint or green tea. I really want to reverse type 2 diabetes. Here are some pics of myself before, will take progress pics weekly if I can manage weekly fasting. I tend to give up before I even start. Wish me luck that this time I will see it through.




Day 1: I have been fasting for 1 day and 14 hours. I went to the movies and was asked if i wanted popcorn and I said no, then after the movies I was asked if iI wanted a meal and I said no, i thought about eating but decided not too.

Physically speaking, the first day is the worst.

One thought I would offer is… if possible, go for 2 or 3 day fasts.

The reason being that since the first day is the worst, additional days are actually fairly easy from a purely physical point of view.

The mental game, however, is an entirely different beast, and I’ve found that the brain is way more persistent than my stomach.
