30 days water fasting (Day 1)

I’m staring my water fasting today. I’ve restarted a few times already cuz I don’t have much self control and always have the mind set that not eating in a day is a big deal… I’ll crave so much food and binge at the end in the middle of the night :frowning: I’m going to try again and with me luck hope I can last 30 days this time… I really wish this time would work…

How about starting with a smaller goal to start? I would do Intermittent Fasting schedule of a 13:11 which is 13 hours and then you have 11 hours feeding window. Then once you accomplish that go to a slightly stricter 16:8, then 18:6, then 20:4 and then OMAD (One Meal a Day).

That’s what I did for about 2 weeks before I tackled prolonged water fasting.

Thanks! I tried doing intermittent fasting before, I also did a juice cleanse. Now I wanna challenge myself to do this water fasting. Seeing all these people that can make it makes me wanna try and know how it feels after the water fasting.

Okay. How about starting out with a full day, 24 hours, challenge. Then take it a day at a time. The hardest part is the first 3-to-5 days as that’s how long it takes to transition from sugar to fat burning (aka glucose to adipose burning). If you can get through that the hunger pains will start to fade as ketosis will begin to suppress the production of the “hunger” hormone, Ghrelin.
