i totally hear you. i have struggled with social anxiety my whole life. i think it stems from having a perfectionist/abusive family. those two things run counter to one another and ended up with my sister and i both having a ton of baggage because of mental games my parents seemed to play on us (without ever copping to it?). it’s bullshit. i once had a renowned therapist who said that most people with anxiety suffer because of the caregivers when they were young in the family dynamic. if you need additional support add me on facebook i will be available to you during this time should you need a talking off the ledge. are you here for the fasting challenge for march? have you had any observations of your anxiety feeling like it goes in tandem with your appetite? also ffs anyone add me if you need on fb i wasn’t singling people out. sorry, 6 days a week is intense. if i could go back to my early twenties i would make myself workout. your body at that stage is in such prized condition, it really gives you an edge on 99% of the population of you’r just in shape. 2nd Annual “March Madness” Fasting Challenge
Day 3 DONE !! It was a struggle for me to not make some toast yesterday! That’s all i thought about and funny enough, i wanted Wheat thins so bad! Lol
Geez! Anyway, i made it!! Didn’t give in!

And yes, that is a GREAT WHY— PROVING TO MYSELF THAT I CAN DO AND FINISH WHAT i HAD SET MY MIND TO. NO EXCUSES!

A busy day ahead, so I should be thoroughly distracted from food. Again, It’s mainly the night times and the random spur of the moment cravings, but I will fight through.

So amazed by this extended fast
Day 4 which normally day 4,5,6 are a breeze for me, but I currently work as a pizza delivery driver so that sucks. Gotta push through though💪🏽. I’ve also woke up with leg pain so I need to start taking potassium and magnesium at night. I do agree with all of you that nights are the hardest the hunger pain usually starts at 7pm. But we are resilient. We got this.

Yes! We can do this!! Maybe get essential oil to smell to block out the pizza aroma.
Thank you for understanding! My appetite goes and comes with anxiety but usually I would indulge to take the feeling off in a pinch. I have medication for anxiety and I also take CBD for it but I tend to eat whenever I take those because otherwise I get a stomachache and/or a headache if I don’t eat.
And yes 6 days a week is intense but doing OMAD back then helped me feel so energetic that it was actually fun to get my workouts in. I totally get it’s not for everyone, especially not me right now but hopefully I can get back to it sooner than later.
Yes I work at Starbucks so I’m around food and drinks all day! I’m at the point in my fast where the food doesn’t tempt me anymore, but once I get home it’s a different story. Currently on Day 4! We all got this!
Middle of day 4! Plenty of energy today. I even did a mild strength training session! I was careful not to overdo it. I feel great!
I took a little too much sodium yesterday and I am definitely bloated. Doesn’t take much for me. Hopefully the workout gets that water moving. Congratulations everyone for making it through those tough first few days!!
Half way done with Day 4! No longer craving food! The smell doesn’t even entice me. I wanted to start lightly working out again, but I want to wait a bit more. I might work out before I sleep so I can sleep faster. Ive been staying up late and can’t sleep. I drink water and put on a podcast to sleep now. I feel amazing!
Just wanted to check in and say that I’m feeling a lot better mentally after doing some exercise. Tomorrow I have a training day so maybe I’ll get my workout in early to help with my mood throughout the day. I also did some self care just now after a hot shower I did my skin care and and now I’m chilling with my diffuser. Here’s to a successful day tomorrow
I get a few hours that hunger is quite bad because I have lots of fat on my body I know I won’t starve lol.
Here is to ignoring the hunger.
Day 5 here, we can do this one day at a time
I got 3 more hours and I’m done with Day 4! Updates:
-tmi: started my cycle but I’m not having the symptoms I usually have. This might be a good thing lol
-no hunger
-didn’t feel grumpy and was in a good mood all day (I think this is the euphoria stage)
- started drinking sparkling water so I don’t get tired of the taste of water
Day 5 here we come!

Day 5 check in. I officially have surpassed my longest fast. So I feel proud that I made that accomplishment. I woke up with some muscle cramps, but went away pretty quick and I noticed if I move suddenly I get a little dizzy. But other than that, I feel great and can’t wait to see where this takes me. Being part of this group has definitely helped and I want to thank everyone for the support and motivation. We can do this
Day 5, and still pushing through. This is the hard part, but I will persevere!
