20 Day Fast Journal

Today marks day 1 of my 20 day fast and I am excited to have found this group. I am ready to stick to my fasting plan and meet my fasting and weight loss goals.

Day 1 was not hard at all, but day 2 and 3 tend to be my hardest days.

I drank my water, had some earl gray hot tea, and took my electrolytes. Today I also did the post it notes idea and put post it notes on my bathroom mirror marking each day of my fast. I’m looking forward to taking the day 1 post it off of the mirror tonight when I go to bed!

Be back tomorrow to update on my day 2 but so far so good! :raised_hands::blush::raised_hands:

Yay!! And definitely hear you on the day 2/3 part. Today is rough for me…but slowly starting to feel better. Just resting and taking my minerals :slight_smile:

Day 2 of my water fast-10% completed!

I had a few hunger pangs today but it wasn’t torturous and I was able to push through.

My family came home with Mexican food tonight for dinner, (my fave) but somehow I was able to deal with that being in my face. I’ve stopped so many fasts short because of these kind of temptations in the past and I ALWAYS regret. The food is never worth it. So this time I’m pushing though. :muscle:

I am on day two right now. I agree with you on the whole regret thing, you will never regret fasting but you will ALWAYS regret eating! Nice job on day 2! You got this!!!

Best of luck. My recent temptation was my birthday party where I was guest of honor at a feast and me with a cup of tea. However, I may have more birthday parties because of things I have learned from this group.:grin:

I forgot to post here yesterday for my day 3 but I am still going strong! Today marks day four now and feeing good. :muscle: Down 6 lbs in four days and can’t wait to see what I’ve lost once I’ve completed 20 days.
