What are your 2020 NEW YEAR Resolutions & GOALS

Happy New Year Everyone!

I wanted to take a minute to ask everyone what their 2020 New Years Resolutions are this year!

Here are some of my daily goals:

  • Reading 30 min/day
  • Continuing to study Mandarin Chinese 30 min/day
  • Exercising a minimum 3x/week for 30 min (walking/stretching counts!)

Bigger Goals:

  • Finally reaching my goal weight of 135 lbs
  • Working to build this amazing community & creating awareness about fasting to help as many people as I can
  • Saving up for the future
  • Reading 2 books per month
  • Becoming fluent in Mandarin Chinese
  • Beating my fasting record!

& Many Many More!

What are some of your resolutions?


Daily Goals:

  1. Staying focused in the “now” or as actor Will Smith says, “laying each brick perfectly every day.”
  2. Executing the day’s goal for the current Flexibility & Endurance phase.
  3. Helping people in the forum and in the FB group.
  4. Working on the book

Bigger Goals:

  1. Completing the “6-Pack at 60” program goal: achieving 13% body fat which translates to losing 56 pounds by 6/12/20.
  2. Authoring an award-winning, NYT and Amazon list topping and best selling book
  3. Landing a reputable literary agent
  4. Signing a contract with a well-established and respected publishing house
  5. Establishing a fasting program in conjunction with USC & UCLA Medical Schools

  • Read at least 10 pages of non-fiction
  • Journal 3 gratitude items
  • Workout at least 30 minutes, at least 15 outside
  • Meditation
  • 64 oz of water
  • Fasting, at least 16:8

:white_check_mark: Weekly:

  • Areas of focus for decluttering/organization
  • Plan trips, outings
  • Reach out, stay in touch with friends/family
  • Listen to at least 2 podcasts
  • Steady working to finally end my weight struggle for good with focused habits

Here are some of my daily goals:

  • Reading 30 min/day
  • Continuing to study Spanish 30 min/day
  • Exercising a minimum 3x/week for 30 min (walking/swimming and some weight lifting!)

Bigger Goals:

  • Finally reaching my goal weight of 179.9 lbs
  • Working on losing the weight to get healthy and help others do the same by becoming a public speaker.
  • Saving up for rainy days and stop spending unnecessarly
  • Reading 2 books per month
  • Becoming fluent in Spanish
  • Making fasting and carnivore part of my life style

@Karen_Lanteigne Good luck on becoming a public speaker.

I’ve been gearing up to re-enter that world by rejoining Toastmasters last September. I used to be a member of the Seattle chapter of the National Speakers Association.

Daily goals

• exercise on a scheduled routine (when not fasting)
• minimise all social media and screen time on my phone
• being outdoors everyday

Bigger goals

• take a backpacking trip again, somewhere I haven’t been
• move to one of my favourite places
• spend more time with the people that matter in my life


My goal is not eating lol . I begun my 40 day fast on new years. :slight_smile:


Awesome!! :smiley: Yes would be kind of interesting to not eat for all of January, kind of leaning that way also! Never did 31 days, seems like a good challenge!

Also YESSSS on minimizing social media and screen time!

I post on IG but I stopped scrolling stories and other people’s posts a long time ago! I just put post notifications on for those I truly want to follow then sign off for the rest!

Wow I feel like our goals are somewhat similar!

  • Reading 30min/day
  • Language 30 min/day
  • Exercising

You will reach your goal weight :wink: I bet you’ll even go lower this year, one step at a time! <3 Glad you are here, please don’t leave us and always stay accountable!

Try documenting your journey and talking to the camera, it might help with your health goals as well as public speaking goals! <3

This year I would like to:

  • Focus on care for my health.
  • Learn to balance my diet.
  • Continue to water fast as a learning and experiment method.
  • Love myself and improve self esteem :relaxed:

Among other bigger goals. :ok_woman:t2: :four_leaf_clover:

Daily Goals-
☆Audiobook 45-60mins.
☆Exercise as well as practice building diverse, challenging and fun routines.
☆Study ATLEAST 60 mins a day.
☆Committing and sticking to my fasts and reFeeding properly.
☆Spend more time playing and teaching my younger daughter.
☆Get my older daughter back in horseback riding in spring.
☆Staying strong, driven and focused NOW to bulid a better future.

Bigger Picture-

:black_small_square:︎Gain my ACE cert by the end of 2020 and NASM cert by the end of 2021 as well as 2 specialist certs for ACE.
