How do I feel right now?
Last night I bought a bunch of new basic clothes which I needed, along with some supplements & a new soda stream bottle (we love). This morning I had my hair cut, bought more clothes for work, and spent this afternoon creating a big workbook of spreadsheets which track my checking account in/outflows, savings, housing fund (am saving moving expenses so I don’t need to draw from savings) AND… weight loss/fasting. I think at the end of this fast, I will upload a copy of the latter with my daily numbers/comments in case anyone wants it.
Like I mentioned above, I am ‘dirty fasting’ this go around, and that basically means I’m letting myself have sugar-free drinks in addition to my usual tea. Obviously nothing crazy, but I need to let myself ‘cheat’ in a healthy way.
As a way to kick off, I made some lemonade using a soda stream and sugar-free lemonade mix, and poured them into icypole molds (I think Americans call it popsicle). I’ve eaten 5 today
but fortunately it’s totaled maybe 6-7 calories all up
I’m quietly excited to try the same with other sugar free drinks. As an added benefit, chewing the ice makes me feel like I’m eating.
I feel really accomplished today
