Day 41. That’s all folks. Tonight we feast or what could be considered one for someone who hasn’t eaten in over a month. My body I think has been telling me for the past several days it’s time and who am I to ignore it. I’ll have some broth and maybe cucumbers because I really need to chew and tomorrow morning spend the day prepping meals for the week. Once I get a little strength up I’ll start hitting the treadmill at the gym. Too damned cold to walk outside. Already thinking of fasting again though. Maybe just two weeks next time. But it’s gonna be a continuous thing til I reach my goal. I got a nice chunk this time. Still a lil ways to go though.
Eladsgarr-Roberts’s Daily Journal
You probably already know this since you research as throughly as I do but your refeed time is usually half the length of the fast. Listen to your body though. I didn’t know this fact and I ended up doing it anyway at 21 days of refeed. Then I did 30 days of working out before tackling my just recently completed 21-day.
Glad you went to this detail. I had wondered where you started from — which is a ‘WOW!!!’
Admittedly, my starting point is nowhere near where you were at. The 191/103 was more than a scary number for you – I am sure. Your A1c was nearly double mine!! And, to lose 81 pounds is what I consider a stupendous effort (and I am sure others here have accomplished that). Heck, I am trying to lose 1/2 of that!!
So, this tells me: That it can done!! — If one is determined to do it!!
I will look at the journal with great interest. I do feel that mentally I am ready do what has to be done to get things in ‘control.’ My girlfriend is not a supporter. However, I did tell her I was going to use 2020 as the year to ‘do something about health items I can control.’ I can certainly control fasting and diet.
Thanks!!
