I finally got tired of the bullshit and realized if I truly want to achieve this fasting goal of 21 days I have to simply just do it. And when I truly got tired of my bullshit it changed me. I haven’t had any problems besides on day 5 having a little nausea but I think it was from chugging my sparkling water so fast while lying down. I felt fine not long after eating less than a sprinkle of sea salt (that’s the only salt I had). And drinking plain water and sitting up in bed. I did a 4 mile walk for the first time earlier that day. Yesterday was my 9 yr anniversary and my husband and I went to this “secret” spot nearby that has a beautiful mini waterfall and it was so peaceful. Today I went walking and just walked a little over 2 miles. I decided to not worry about the scale. I just checked my scale the day I started over which was at 143lbs and I’m 5’8. I won’t check my weight until the day and time my fast is officially over and since I decided to actually push pass 21 days and am now going for 30, my last day will be July 28th at 6:50pm central time. I will then also check my blood pressure because I’m trying to reverse it. I’ve had a lot of clarity already and am not hungry. Every now and then I think “ugh I miss that” since I have to still cook for 4 kids, my husband and my mom and siblings when I go take care of her or even have to get take out for them all but I always think like Yasemin said. “You have your whole life to eat.” But also since I’ve watched The Game Changers and Forks Over Knives on Netflix I have decided I really want to go vegan. I’ve already completed not eating meat, cheese and a few other things before for a month and found so many ways to still have vegan substitutes that I’m officially ready to change my lifestyle by becoming vegan. My husband and I both wanted to for a while but after watching those two documentaries and doing more research we are ready and even ready to slowly switch our kids over to becoming vegan and when the time is right after they have a lot of vegan meals without knowing (there’s a lot of vegan meals that look and taste similar to regular food) we will then explain to them everything. I’m homeschooling them this year too so that’s perfect and when they go back to school we will go from there when the time comes. Anyhoo enough rambling. I just want to say I’m doing great. I’m proud. The hump is definitely over and I know for a fact I’m going to keep pushing. This week went by pretty fast for me actually and I feel like this week will be over before i know and then boom! Halfway there so I definitely won’t turn back. Everybody keep pushing and just get tired of the bullshit! You got this and you rock! Love, peace and harmony! :sparkles::sparkles::sparkles:
